Concussion Awareness in Honour of Rowan!

On October 1st, students at St. Jerome will be learning about Rowan and Rowan’s Law. We want to raise greater awareness about concussions by sharing Rowan’s Stringer’s story.  Rowan died in 2013 from experiencing a series of concussions while playing Rugby.  She didn’t know that her brain needed to heal and this eventually caused her death. Homework Helpers

 

This year, we will be offering Homework Helper virtually to all grade 7 & 8 students across our system. Homework Helper is a gap closing measure, meant to support student success. This free tutoring service allows students to access a teacher virtually on Saturdays (October 3rd 2-2- -June 12, 2021), from 11:00am-1:30pm and support them in the development of their literacy
