Wishing our St. Jerome school community hope, peace, joy, and love this Christmas and always. Together we were able to support the charity, Rose of Sharon with donations for young mothers and children in need. We celebrated the season by giving and coming together for an Advent mass. Kindergarten students opened their classroom doors to their parents and had a family Advent gathering where they created ornaments, sang carols, and enjoyed some treats. The whole school participated in “Reindeer Games” at recess led by our amazing Student Council leaders. They took part in Christmas Trivia games and each student enjoyed a candy cane! Doors were decorated and PJ days at school were won! We commemorated our Virtue of Hope recipients with certificates in a ceremony. The Art Club led students in a watercolour Christmas card-making activity. Ending the week with a whole school sing-a-long! We ensured that our time before Christmas was filled with calm, patience, compassion, and kindness. We look forward to our new year!
