The people of Turkey and Syria urgently need help after two earthquakes, and many aftershocks, have caused a humanitarian crisis in the region. These earthquakes are among the strongest the region has experienced in the past 100 years. Thousands of buildings have been damaged, leaving people without shelter in cold winter conditions.
The Luke 4:18 Committee led by our Student Council Faith Ambassador will be organizing a Loonie/Toonie Relief Walk on Thursday, February 23rd, 2023. Please send a donation with your child to school and it will be collected during class. The money will be sent to the Archdiocese of Toronto Humanitarian Relief fund.
