This September, as we prepare to return to school parents/guardians are invited to open up the discussion with their child(ren) on what their goals, aspirations, and intentions may be for this new school year. Using the attachment provided in an email to parents/guardians, students are to create an acrostic poem using the letters ROAR that would express these goals. Students may decorate and personalize the sheet including their names. On the first day back at school students are to bring their printed copy of their “ROAR” and submit it to their classroom teacher. They will be collected to create a school display and some will be shared on announcements for us all to appreciate. We hope you enjoy this activity with your child(ren).
