Flag Day 53 Anniversary
February 15 is the 53rd anniversary of Canada’s red and white maple leaf flag.
The students and staff are encouraged to wear red and white or a Canadian team jersey to celebrate this occasion.

The Bell Let’s Talk campaign is about promoting conversations about mental health across Canada. By talking about mental health, we work to reduce the stigma and increase the support. On January 31, 2018, Bell will donate 5 cents for every text message or social media post using the #BellLetsTalk (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat).

The York Labour Environmental Action Group has organized an event at the Newmarket Theatre which will include a free screening of the National Geographic film, Before the Flood. MPP Chris Ballard, Minister of the Environment will also address those in attendance, and Environmental Groups from across the York Region will be setting up information booths in the foyer of the theatre. ...
